I am an artist who combines colorful realism with self-authored narratives that explore the awkward intimacies of inter-personal relationships and human psychology. I have recently expanded my practice to include still-life subjects, rendered with intimate care and attention to the unique beauty of each object – much in the same way I do with my figurative work.

My work has been featured in galleries and museum exhibitions throughout the United States and is part of the permanent collection of The Boise Museum of Art, The Tucson Museum of Art, The University of Arizona Museum of Art, the University of Sciences and Arts of Oklahoma, and the Museum of Art at Texas Tech University. I am currently represented by the Stewart Gallery in Boise, ID, the Klaudia Marr Gallery in Santa Fe, NM, and the Projects Gallery in Philadelphia, PA.

Being committed to the power of the visual image, and the desire for art-making to be embraced and respected, I also teach. I am an Assistant Professor of Painting and Drawing at New Mexico State University.
